• Homepage Option Selection:

OmniPage now immediately displays a selection of frequently used options upon launch (document opening or scanning, OmniPage project opening). Predefined workflows allow for converting from one format to another in a single step.

• Email Scans and Images from Any Device:

"Scan to Email" and "Image to Email" functions enable capturing and distributing documents from various devices. If Microsoft Outlook is installed, OmniPage can monitor your inbox, open incoming document scans, and automatically convert them in one step. Improved image defect removal algorithms with several available methods (normal, bitmap image, light and dark spot removal). Enhance low-resolution scans with OmniPage's scanning processing tools (SET™ tools). Digitally photographed content (text, graphics) can be optimized for better readability. Pages can be automatically cropped, special tools remove perforations, and margins are cleaned to ensure a clean document without shadows or marginal annotations.

• Automatic Language Recognition:

During fully automated processing, OmniPage can assign a specific language to each page. It selects from Latin alphabet languages and supported dictionaries, as well as Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (traditional and simplified). Manual language selection is not required if this function is enabled.

• Improved Blank Page Handling:

A new function enhances blank page detection, including light or gray pages without content. This positively affects two features: the new preprocessing option to ignore blank pages and the existing "Create a new file after each blank page" option.
